CLOSING OF THE YACHTING SEASON

On October 6, the Moscow Royal Yacht Club hosted the closing ceremony for the yachting season, organized together with Motor Boat & Yachting magazine.

The club members and numerous guests fond of yachting gathered on this autumn evening at the Vodny restaurant.

At the beginning of the evening, Kristina Guryanova and Ilya Miri, representatives of the Royal Yacht Club, addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. Alexander Klimchuk (President of Houseboat.ru) spoke about the advantages of floating houses. His speech caused a great stir among the public.

The guest star of the ceremony, People’s Artist of Russia Lev Leshchenko, managed to ignite the audience with the famous hits as well as with the new songs and entertained the guests for almost an hour and a half.

Later, the Russian national hydrofly team “Flyboard Russia” delivered an utterly amazing flyboard show with flying and glowing athletes against the background of the dark Moscow sky.

The evening passed in a surprisingly jolly atmosphere. The only thing that saddened the audience a little bit was the very fact of the end of the yachting season. But this is fixable: spring will come again and the new season, too. We just have to wait a little bit.
