HOUSEBOAT: A HOUSE WITH A VIEW OF THE CORAL REEFS

Dubai is home to the most exciting projects such as the tallest building in the world, indoor ski slope, man-made islands… But we would like to tell you about is the city’s new ambitious in terms of real estate development.

The Seahorse project will be located on the man-made archipelago The World, designed in the form of continents. The first pilot was introduced last month.

Around 130 luxury underwater villas will be located in the center of the Heart of Europe island cluster, around the Germany and Switzerland islands. Ninety villas will occupy a place around the island called St. Petersburg.

These futuristic villas vary in size; however, each one will have three levels. The underwater level will include bedrooms and bathrooms, from the windows of which you will be able watching the fascinating underwater world. The Seahorse name itself was not chosen by chance: artificial coral reefs will be built around the underwater villa, in which real seahorses will live there safely and will develop their colonies. Thus, the villa provides an opportunity not only to observe underwater life agape, but also to participate in wildlife conservation.

The water level will offer the villa owners state-of-the-art amenities, such as: kitchen, living room, deck and built-in pool. In addition, you will never feel lonely in the villa: all houses are equipped with WiFi and other communication systems.

The cherry on top is the underwater bar and sauna.

The plans to launch the project first surfaced last year. A few weeks earlier, the presentation of the first prototypes of these houseboats was announced. By the end of the year, it is planned to build about fifty ready-made Seahorses.

After the successful launch of the first Seahorses, the Heart of Europe presented the third version – Royal. The largest villas will reach 360 square meters and will cost $ 2.7 million.

This kind of innovation makes Dubai so attractive to the tourists. Moreover, the Seahorses project has already attracted investors from Saudi Arabia, the Maldives and Seychelles, and Norway.
